Case StudiesSydney Easts Cuts 18% Off FM SpendEastern Suburbs Leagues Club is one of the largest clubs of its type in Australia, and is home to the Sydney Roosters. Club CEO, Rob Riddle, signed up FM Solutions in a period of rising costs and reduced revenue from increased competition and the government's restrictions on gaming activity. FM Solutions implemented a program of immediate improvements, long-term sustainable savings, improved facilities, and a better allocation of resources. The scope has been broad, and has included cleaning, preventative maintenance, repairs, new maintenance policies, a new computer-aided management system and management of contractors. The work gained for the Bondi Junction club a reduction in FM expenditure of 18.19%. But what's more, the club is now free to focus on front-of-house issues and leave the back-of-house operations under the management of FM Solutions.

Harbord Diggers Club Saves Over $600,000Harbord Diggers Club is a respected community club in Sydney's Northern Beaches. It serves the local community, gives extensively to charity and has a membership of more than 26,000, making it one of the largest facilities of its kind in this area. The mission of FM Solutions was to improve both the service standard of the club's facilities, and the cost-effectiveness of these services. Service standards have been maintained or improved across the scope of our work, and a new upgrade of our computer maintenance management system is about to replace our first system for them. In the first two and a half years, the cost savings to Harbord Diggers from the facility management program we've been operating for them have added up to a little over $620,000. The percentage savings this represents is around 16%, surpassing our guarantee to them.

Bankstown RSL Pockets $430,000 In 2 YearsBankstown R&SL is a respected services club in Sydney's West. Scott Dickson, CEO of the club, wanted to increase the services provided to the club's market and felt that a way to achieve this was to free resources tied up in managing back-of-house issues. At the same time, he sought cost-savings without affecting the standard of facility services, and saw these savings as a critical contributor to his front-of-house agenda. In the first two years of working with FM Solutions, the savings have added up to more than $430,000, exceeding the savings we predicted. Now entering the third year of operation, it's estimated that for the club to achieve the same net gains from their front-of-house that they're achieving from back-of-house, they would need to increase revenue by about $3.4 million. Previous to operating Bankstown R&SL, Mr Dickson managed Southport RSL in Queensland, and retained FM Solutions there, too. We helped Mr Dickson reduce facility service costs for Southport by 13% in the first year alone.
